The Community Empowerment Team comprises members with over 20 years of experience in successfully mobilizing communities across various settings, including the plantation sector, rural villages, work places, farmers, schools, and urban communities. Additionally, the team has worked with diverse target groups to gain extensive experience in achieving effective community mobilization.
Through the team’s interventions, we have brought about positive changes in knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors within selected communities. Notably, effective and practical methods have been developed with the active participation of target groups.
Based on our extensive experience, we are focusing on the Anuradhapura district to reduce malnutrition and address the underlying determinants of health issues. Through this program, we aim to:
These initiatives were highly appreciated by participants and successfully implemented at the community level. Building on this foundation, Innovative Community Empowerment (Pvt) Ltd. was officially registered under the Companies Act on December 29, 2024.
